La Vida Bella

How did you view yourself 20 years ago?  Did you see yourself here?  And if not...are you ok with it?  Do you wonder if you really gave your personal best? Do you know if you gave everything?  Or do you know you only gave enough?  Was enough, enough?  Is your life a fraction of the amazing you imagined when you ruled the world?  Or is it more than you ever imagined?  Why?

I'm just curious, as I listen to ColdPlay's Viva La Vida (and look at pictures of my highschool's 20 year reunion).  How do you VIVA LA VIDA?  Do you know and feel how loved you are?  Do you make others feel what you feel - whatever that is?

I just danced the crap out of Patria by Ruben Blades (see below).  And it felt....GREAT.  I'm ridin' on adrenaline.  I haven't danced like that in, well, years.  I love being able to do what I love - even if it's not my vocation.  What a terrible shame to march through life not diving into love.  Love of self, of giftings of life.  I danced by myself which was lovely, but next time, I'm grabbing my babies hands and leading them in an art form that they may or may not express themselves through when they're older but they'll enjoy.  They'll feel the ancestral tribal beats of the carribean.  They'll know a part of who they are and part of where they're from.

Are you waiting for a beautiful life...or are you making it?  I'm going to try to ask myself that. Every day.

Comment, comment!  I look forward to hearing/reading your thoughts.
