DARE to SHARE your RESOLUTION!

2009
Dare I say what I have resolved for 2009? Do you ever decide NOT to mention your New Year's Resolution because you don't want to be held accountable?  So that on December 31, 2009, some friend who has the memory of an elephant says 'what happened to meeting Vin Diesel and starring in his next film?  That Babylon movie just released - not that I would see it - and I know you weren't anywhere near Hollywood this year'

My resolution for 2009 was easy to keep.  Today.  I have resolved to choose to think and speak positively and have my actions reflect that positivity as often as I can.  I can be a realist, I know this may not happen every day.  But I'm determined that it's going to happen a lot more than it did last year.  Can you all hear my husband's sigh of relief? :-)

Today was a good day.  I'm not just saying that to be positive.  It really was.  Everything that presented itself as a negative, I reworded as a positive.  The effect was, well, it was wonderful.  It was better than sipping a Corona on my couch.  (I won't say that it'd be better than a Corona on a beach in the Carribean, however.  I need to try that soon so that I can be a better judge of it, he he).

I have begun reading Wide Awake .  Erwin Raphael McManus mentions that 'sometimes the limitations you are willing to accept establish the boundaries of your existence.'  I have accepted far too many limitations this past year.  So I have also resolved to reject the limitations I have accepted and see what happens to the frame of my existence.  We shall see.

It's a new day.  Thank God that he has made it so.

What's your resolution - if you dare to share?
